The Saturn Return is a sacred transition and a spiritual initiation— a process that has been lost (cough *intentionally stripped* cough) from post-modern Western culture. It is a portal of transformation. A coming-of-age of the psyche, soul, and spirit. It is descent into the underworld. A stripping away of all of the falseness you have accumulated to please and placate others, and to protect yourself from a sick society. It is a reclamation of all of the parts of yourself that you have learned to sever, betray, and disown in order to find some sense of belonging. It is a cosmic ceremony nurturing you into the realization that true belonging is belonging to yourself, and that it is only from this integral state of self-belonging that your gifts and purpose can ever fully come to fruition.

So let’s agree, right this very second, to drop the fear. Okay? Let’s do this differently. Because if you do, your Saturn Return can stop feeling like a chronic catastrophe, and can start feeling like what it truly is: the awakening of your power and sovereignty.
